Dr Brian Mathew's comments on today's deselection of the UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for North Wiltshire.

"Any racist comments are totally unacceptable. The fact that UKIP had selected a candidate that allegedly took this action speaks volumes about UKIP itself. Further, if you consider that UKIP have had candidates step aside in hundreds of seats across the country in order to support the Conservative Party's 'Hard Brexit',this tells voters all they need to know about the direction of the Conservative Party. I stand for an Open, Tolerant and United Britain. A Britain that rejects racism. I ask for the support of all in North Wiltshire who feel the same way."
